Have you met my Chinchillas?

Those who know me are well aware of my pet chinchillas and just how much I love them.
Never heard of a chinchillas? Please meet them, they are cute. :)

Black: Boba (Mommy), White: Shifu (Daddy- thought he was neutered), Grey: Mimi (Spazzy daughter)

We adopted Boba & Shifu about two years ago from Bunnybunch, a no-kill bunny rescue in Montclair, California. About six months afterward I was shocked to see a tiny baby chinchilla one early morning who was shortly named Mimi by my husband. I couldn't believe how quickly Mimi fluffed up after birth! These little furry guys are full of personality, they are all very different! They love plain cheerios and raisins. They LOVE to burrow into your sweater/jackets through your sleeve. They are very playful when you let them out for playtime (They wall-surf and constantly jump over to you/on you)! :) Their lifespan is generally 15-20 years (yay!)

I've learned so much about life from them spanning from sharing to forgiveness, fighting to loving. My chinchillas never cease to put a smile on my face. I find myself saying "awwww" all of the time because of them. I love my little ones.

This is Boba, the sweetest of the three.

Do you see the cheerio in Boba's mouth?

One of Our Favorite Vegetarian Restaurants

Lately my husband and I have been finding amazing vegetarian restaurants. Recently we got to re-visit our favorite Pho place called Thuyen Vien in Anaheim. Everything we have tried there has more than impressed us. I might even dare to say that I like their food more than many other non-vegetarian restaurants. Definitely a must-try!

Fire

A few months ago my husband and I went to a camping activity to chaperone a Youth Group from church. At the campfire, I just had to take a shot and a shot I took.

The Ashley Project

I have been wanting to try this project for a long time: Look Up.

I have always found beauty in life experiences, even the grievous ones. These sorrowful times in life can propel us, slowly or quickly, incrementally or as a bound into becoming a brighter, wiser, more humble and more grateful individual. The process of working through pain, though it hurts, is beautiful in my eyes. I see the process as a demonstration of one whose heart desires to see the light, of one who is walking on their own individual path of becoming more beautiful than he or she was before the challenge unveiled itself.

This is where of our life's beautiful moments occur: Mother Earth.
Thank you Ashley for making this project happen :)

Beautiful Rain

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/10992737/?claim=6y86bjs5p55">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
Today marked the first day of rain this fall. The crisp chill in the air and that icy feeling that is felt on my hands when rain touches them leave me with a grin on my face, excited for this season.
