My 2014 Japan Trip. Theme: Food

About 97% of the food that my husband and I got to eat were jaw-dropping amazing. The food, will be missed greatly.

Chanpon, made by the wife of the couple we stayed with for five days!

Ice cream anmitsu. The shiratama (the white mochi-balls) were absolutely delicious!

Never had Yakiniku so good in my life.

This isn't just the cutest cake I've ever come across, but the most delicious too!

This was one of the "usual breakfast"s that the wife made us. Usual my butt, it was so GOOD!

My Unforgettable Trip to Japan. Theme: Soft

For the past few weeks my husband and I have been blessed to be out in Japan. This trip would not have happened or would not have been as memorable without the kindness and love from our family and those we got to meet and spend time with out on the other side of the Pacific.

Going to Japan was such a wonderful experience. Being there five years from the last time I've been in Japan, I was able to see the land from a much different perspective. I loved nearly everything about it. The service, the manner of speech, the FOOD, their devotion to creativity and art, their modes of transportation and their dedication to living their life to the fullest. Fortunately my husband loved it so much too!

This time I've taken so much more understanding and wisdom back home with me. My husband and I miss that beautiful land and look forward to returning back to Japan.

From the Studio Ghibli Museum. Truly a magical place for Studio Ghibli fans!

A beautiful doll made for the owner of my favorite hostel 1166 Backpackers. Made by her father!

The yogurt in Japan is an entirely different level.
